The Blooming Circle is a postpartum support group that serves mothers who live within Addison County, Vermont. Our mission is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where postpartum mothers feel empowered, connected, and understood. We are committed to supporting emotional well-being, self-care, and mental health, helping every mom embrace her new journey with confidence and strength. Together, we foster a community of kindness, support, and understanding—ensuring no mom has to face the postpartum period alone.

"It takes a VILLAGE!"
The Blooming Circle was created by a local mom and social worker, Kelly Bessette, who saw a lack of support and resources for women struggling with postpartum and other issues related to motherhood. Kelly has a lot of passion in working with women and mothers. The development of this group began after the birth of her second child. She faced a challenging postpartum journey, struggled with postpartum depression, MOM Rage, felt overwhelmed with the expectations of motherhood. Something shifted within herself when she realized she was not alone. She knew there were other moms out there experiencing similar struggles, and that connection could be the key to healing and strength. This realization inspired her to create this group—a place where mothers could come together, share their stories, and support one another through the ups and downs of postpartum life.
This group was born from the need for connection, understanding, and a reminder that none of us are truly alone in this journey.
